Oh yes, Amber me too! Still. The ABC often has some beaut old movies on late at night. Some obsure ones you would never see otherwise 1940's, 50's. There was, a while back but not too long, the old Sheik movies - 1920's silent movies with Rudolph Valentino. That was a real treat. Yes, I could go on forever. Do you remember years back, Vampira Queen of the Dark or something like that where this outrageously made up lady would introduce the late night horror offerings?. Fab.

Yes...there are a few still on the ABC ๐
Must have missed the Vampira lady, but remember seeing old horror films quite a bit.

Might have been, Elvira. Just now popped into my head. Also think it was Mistress of the Dark. Yes, Amber thank God for good ol" Aunty.

Ahhhhh...Elvira is a protected name, and is played by the same woman.
I think that it was probably somethingelse mistress of the dark late night on nine. The woman was errrrr chosen by the boss, Packer.
I was verrrrrrrrrry little at the time but I remember that little boys took a shine to her

I think there were a couple of horror ladies doing the rounds of late night TV. Yes it was years back so I'm a bit hazy. I think there was one named Cassandra. Oh well, all great memories. Guys loved all of them I think. They all had, ah hum, shall we say, very large assets.

It's a rotten conspiracy
As opposed to a fresh ripe one?
For the past hour we have been in a very strong electrical storm cell.
Tonight is my best TV night and these cells always seem to come then. Not one functioning Tele channel.
My OH is about to get thumped, his solution is for me to either bake him some cakes or do something else which does not need tv.
He has no chance on either score.
Just having a whinge.
Someone mentioned DVDs, theres also Youtube. Other than Nascar, I haven't watched TV in years by choice with the exception of this last year in wit I can't even watch Nascar due to no reception where I am currently. But I did catch a couple of Nascar races on Youtube, thanks to the one who uploaded it.

Thanks for that Jean, The Mrs and I also enterd in to a baking challenge and took up the initiative as a team practicing putting buns in the oven for hours (well it seemed like hrs to me anyways???) she ended up losing interest and went back to her knitting muttering something about needing to stiffen up the mix and left it abruptly in my lap
...no consistency...apparently.. I am working on a better proving technique as we speak
