It's raining in Crib Point - Yay

I was still asleep when I heard this very strange noise - so I concentrated hard and thought about what it could be - IT WAS RAINING - on my tin roof, what a beautiful sound. It's still raining an hour later, my car has been washed (thank you OH for standing in the rain and doing that), the garden tank is full (small one) and the big one is getting there.  We don't really need tanks but we just love the taste of rainwater and the sound of it.

The sound of rain on a tin roof was part of my childhood, so I know what you mean.  I'm in Qld, so I'll send some of our rain to you...had ENOUGH of it for a while.

I heard rain last night too. I had to concentrate and try to remember the sound because it's been so loooong since I've heard it too!

It's been lovely hasn't it?  It's stopped here now and the sun is shining

Oh, it's stopped raining and the sun is trying to come out. It's now very humid and it makes my hair go all curly but the rain was so nice.

It only stopped raining here in the Dandenongs about 2pm......humid now, but at least we got the rain, I was way over the heat.
