I would like to know what Christopher Pyne thinks about the protestors behaviour in this video... pushing security guards and breaking into Uni Admin offices.
Joe Hockey speaks on the video.

I know that for a fact... think what you want.... I know it for a fact... the uni does not keep it they pass it on.. they just collect it.
There is no fact there at all. You actually are completely misinformed. You know nothing about student administration other than from assumptions made.
Compulsary Union Fees are well and truly gone.
The only reason that university admin provides some money for the student association to fund the various activities is because it is the cheapest way to offer the services. Counselling is a good example. If the university I worked for had to pay for counselling, then it would have to employ specialist staff and there was not money for this. Instead it provided funding to the association for the administration of a counselling service which was provided by union members on a volunteer basis.
Pretty much every other activity on campus that falls outside of a faculty has to be funded. Universities do not have the money to do this. They rely on their student bodies to step in. And those student bodies do it all on a volunteer basis.

LOL paints!!!! well heard tonight on the ABC the interest rate will be applied to those who are studying now even though it won't come in for a while yet. So it will affect past and present students who still owe money.
