yeah, pretty close to what you describe but I haven't had to deal with anything like that in a while. My main aggravation now is being subjected to all the smoking that goes on here in this shelter and being told by the staff and those in charge that if I don't like it, I can just leave. They see me as having a hang up about smoking but even if thats true, all I'm asking is that they enforce their own rule on the subject. They will not and refuse to do so. But if I cough uncontrollablly because of it, I'm getting yelled at about how descusting I am.
They had a fire drill, just now, I'm barefoot in the snow and people just started a smoking up a storm, (outside) when I tried to stand away from it, I was told (yelled at by staff and the guy in charge) to get back in line with the smokers, If i don't then I will be exited from the place (kicked out)
I hate doing this, and don't know if anything would come of it, and again, I really hate doing this, but I called the health department where one reports smoking violations. This was a last resort move, I felt like they left me no choice.
As for the topic, it only hits me because of how quick people are to jump to believing the worst of people, and quite possibilly the best of police. It could so easally be me accused of some such thing and I wonder how many would post and agree with me being, what is it?
just sickening. Filthy scum granted bail
I just know that these apartments I'm applying for are seeing an arrest record and not looking past that to the part about no convictions.
Maybe the cops are right about this guy, but I might be the only one here saying, maybe they are not. Don't mean that I'm defending a horrable person, just that I don't know, I haven't so easally been convienced.

Joanie, buy yourself some surgical masks - you can pick them up dirt cheap on ebay - and wear them when you have to be around the smokers. That way you can protect yourself, to some degree at least, and get your point across without being yelled at.
