Hi Chris, that's a good idea, haven't ventured into the discussion boards there, yet, thanks for that. I haven't paid for a book yet, but when I get myself organised will look for more of the new authors I discovered on there.

Amy, haven't read any today, yet, but I did go and buy a cover with light, just doesn't feel right holding it bare, so to speak. They only had black,  but that's ok, it will do me just fine.

Will have a look for that book you are reading.

Yes, I bought one in April/May 2011 from Amazon .com. I bought a Kindle 3 with keyboard. At that time it cost me about $150 with postage ($139+ about $20-21 postage) took 5 days to arrive ( by courier ) faster than I''ve received Australian posted stuff. Don't buy the AC power plug from them as any Aust USB AC power plug adaptor can be bought here for under $7 in those "Cheap as Chips" type store. If you have an Ipod use their USB AC plug adaptor. Of course this was before Dick Smiths and Big W etc started selling the Kindles so not sure how much they go for now. Hope this is not too late only just looked at forums etc.

I couldn't wait for a cover to come from overseas, I'm afraid, apart from wanting the protection on Kindle, it didn't feel quite right reading it, now with the cover it feels like a book. :^O:^O

I am a sook like that, you know. ๐Ÿ˜„

Plus, I have some Chrissy money, so shouted myself. Pity they only have black though, but might shout myself another colour later in the year, then I can change it when I feel like it. :^O:^O
