I'm currently reading a freebie I got a couple of weeks ago which is about Alcatraz. It's a long book, detailing the history of Alcatraz from the early colonial days, and then its role as a prison.
Has detailed stories of some of its more infamous crims who were incarcerated there, the many rescue attempts, how life was on 'The Rock' for the families of the guards who lived and worked there.
It's fascinating reading, definitely one of the best freebies I've ever found.
I love my Kindle too.
anyone having trouble loading pixels of ink today? I do it through my email and it opens up a Firefox page, no problem. Today, it is opening IE and then doesn't load. Very odd.:-(

All fine here too. Downloaded a few this morning.
finished my 4th book last night.
Dont think ive ever read so much before.
Am reading a horror now.
I have read about 5 or 6, and have found 2 or 3 authors I will read again.
