It's ok Daydream, I aim to make some people happy every day. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy to help.

I intend to be away from home a bit this year, in places that have no wifi, so 3g was important to me but really, wifi only is good too, there are free wifi hot spots everywhere.

Cuddly, I don't know how I ever did without mine before. It lives by my bedside and when I leave the house, in my handbag, in case I need to wait places.

I'm a little late to the conversation, but we have 2 kindles here.

The first I bought straight from Amazon - postage cost about $30 and it was here in 2 days.

The second we got from BigW - because we have a friend who works there and he got staff discount for us.

I think the costs are about the same whichever way you go, but would be inclined to buy direct from Amazon next time as their customer service is spoken so highly of. BigW, Dick Smith etc - I am not so sure about their customer service.

Oh and we have one of each type.

A wifi only one for master 12 and a 3G one for me.

The Wifi only is fine for him, but I find myself at all sorts of places wanting to read, but i need to download a new book.

The WiFi with keyboard is not available, unless you can find a shop that has some stock left.

Am wondering if there is a new one coming out?

I had decided on the 3G, then I thought the above one, now it looks like I will be going with my original decision.

My local DS doesn't have any, don't think Woolies has, and the nearest BigW is a fair way away, so, think I will order it online from Dick Smith.

There is a new one out without a keyboard but it is NOT a touch screen (in Australia anyway). My advise would be to order it. Or maybe get someone who lives right near a BigW to buy one and post it to you.
