Just want to thank you all for your help and advice.

Think i'll have a reading frenzy tonight to finish the current book I am reading so then i can start the one on my kindle.

My first kindle book is 'The Hungar Games'

Just ordered mine Dick Smith online, free delivery, there was none available near me, and didn't want to drive all over the place to get it. Pity it is a long weekend, might have it by this time next week.

Now, need a cover, they didn't have any.

Any fovourite sellers of them here on eBay? Want one with a light.

Well worth it.

Like I said, I have over 400, all have been free, and I have found a couple of authors from them that I will buy more of.

There is also a Pixel of Ink Young Edition.

i was just looking covers up. There are heaps.

Did you buy the power cord with yours? Apparently they charge heaps faster via a cord to a wall socket.

D Smith wanted $30.00 for one but ive heard you can get them cheaper elsewhere

Keep it away from the children, don't put it on the couch or bed and forget.....(someone here, accidently leaned on it and cracked the screen............and do get a screen protector. I have a leather cover but only use it to take out of the house, I have a gel cover on it all the time.

Look on here, you will get a mains plug for heaps less inc post. Covers as well.

Hi - i have both a kindle two and a kindle three which I got straight from the amazon site

I could not be happier with them.

I have found that the staff in Big W and Dick Smith did not know a lot about the kindles even though they were selling them.

I was told by staff in the stores that you could buy any book you want but this is untrue as some titles due to publisher restrictions are unavailable in some countries They seemed surprised when I pointed this out.....

This topic often comes up on the Amazon discussion boards

Having said that I have found that amazon customer service is the best that I have ever come across..

Oh, in case anybody didn't know, you can get a usb car cigarette charger, my daughter was given a double one off her boyfriend for Chrissy..... along with the iPod Classic he gave her. 😮

I had almost ordered mine from  The A site this morning, but I want it faster than it would take.... at least I hope I get it faster! :^O

I fell in love with the burnt orange leather cover with light, but it was going to take up to 4 weeks to ship, so didn't bother, although I might end up getting one from them yet.

Oh, and I do prefer to do these purchases with PayPal, which they don't offer, which is another reason I decided not to, not that I don't think it is safe, but I just prefer it that way...... I know my password so it means I don't have to get off my chair to go get my CC :^O
