Kudos . do you give or recieve kudos ? i give them away like lollies. is this wrong ?

 yes, i give kudos. and, i've had some.. its a new experience. do you think kudo-giving is a form of cyber-bullying when its backs up a critical post or remark ? is a combination of kudos and tags too much to bear, and do you think it divides an already fractured community  ? is the community fractured naturally , and the fracturing not a concern ? is it not fractured ? .

I give it to posts I agree with or that tickle my sense of humour. I think it could be abused but does anyone really care so much about kudos?

Yes I do give them out and it's usually for funny posts, not for critical ones.  I have noticed that it is done quite a lot to nasty posts and I do think it is cyber bullying.

Some posts just crack me up and one I even had to tag tonight too.

For me it saves commenting or laughing at a funny post

The moderators are funny and personable so far which I really like

There was no purpose to that one really Donna.  I just didn't want to jump into the thread with a post. 

Lakeland, this is an interesting thread but I fear that it may bring out the biff.

I gave some to Donna and she gave some to me, which indicates the system can be used properly... even worryingly lol

but I have seen others using it to support nasty posts. It doesn't worry me, as it usually just confirms where they stand...and confirms to me, that I'm glad I don't stand near them.

It's only frivolous on CS, but could be used to advantage on the trading boards as it will eventually indicate who are the respected helpers
