Do you think it's possible to be LGTB and a Christian?
What about other religions/faiths/beliefs?
Note: Please don't be nasty! Whatever your personal beliefs, I didn't start this thread so you could offend each other. Please be nice and try to be understanding. This is a public forum, anyone can read what is written here. Thanks!

Religion has nothing to do with homosexuality
And endorses the life long Union
Of a man and wife.
I did not write the Bible
But I do know what it says and
At no time does it endorse
Homosexuality
You can pretend this is incorrect
All you like but what does it matter
If you are not religious

well I'd better let you in on something that we discovered. my OH recently worked for a Catholic Org. and I can tell you that a few people's sexuality there is not what it seems, ( if you get my drift)

Predators position themselves in places where their
Prey is easy to access
Has nothing to do with religion

no nothing to do with predators I'm sorry, you are so on the wrong track

How many people do you think are
Hiding under the guise of Christianity
For whatever reason maybe because
It's easier to live your life pretending
To be what you are not than to face the
World as what you are
And as far as religion goes no true believer
Would defile their religion in clear sight
Of God

I'm not saying any more about it because it is their business not mine but I do know that things are quite different to what you seem to think
that's all

Yes it is funny how people's minds work
How people just want what other people
Have just because they can't have it
And when you are given something that is very
Special you can't treat it with some kind of
Respect

According to my children who attend a christian school (we are not christian) you only need to believe in god to be a christian.
So the real question is are churches or other Christians accepting of homosexuality. I guess the answer could only be that some are and some aren't. I read on a ssm page that 53% of Christians want same sex marriage and probably many of those who don't like the idea of homosexuals marrying aren't necessarily homophobic or bigoted, they just have strong ideas of what marriage is according to their faith.
I think there are some other religions that have much stronger anti homosexual views and there are still several countries where homosexual activity is punishable by death under sharia law.
