LGTB in Christianity

Do you think it's possible to be LGTB and a Christian?

 What about other religions/faiths/beliefs?

Note: Please don't be nasty! Whatever your personal beliefs, I didn't start this thread so you could offend each other. Please be nice and try to be understanding. This is a public forum, anyone can read what is written here. Thanks!

When anyone repeats what I say, i usually accept it as a compliment but, in your case ....???? I dunno - I think you just slept.

Woman LOL

I WAS asleep. I was going on about seven hours of sleep within a seventy two hour period when I posted that. Sorry....I was a little daft out the other day.

However, I still think it's a false premise to say that homosexuality is harmful to homosexuals using the aids argument. I still stand by the fact that sexual orientation does not cause this disease...unsafe practices do.

Icy said:

However AIDS initially was largely spread by unprotected homosexual activity. So yes, it would be incorrect to say homosexuality doesn't harm anybody

Initially......way back in the eighties when nobody knew what the disease was, let alone how it was spread. The disease was spread primarily through homosexual activity. But again....it wasn't  'homosexuality' causing aids back in the eighties, it was lack of education.

Kind of reinforces the idea of teaching our kids at an early age, doesn't it?

I've always wondered about the young man in the garden of Gethsemane, who was "following" Jesus (Mark 14: 51-52), who was reportedly wearing "nothing but a linen garment" which, when Jesus was seized, he left behind as he fled.

A scantily clad young man stalking the Lord, in a garden, at night? I don't fancy his chances of making into Heaven if he's going to go around doing that sort of thing.

And let us not forget those who lost their lives through blood transfusions.

Nothing to do with promiscuity, homosexuality or heterosexuality.

Bryce Courtney's son for one.

Your'e still not getting it.

Ppl can get AIDS via shared needles, unprotected sex, blood transfusions. Babies can be born with through their AIDS infected mothers.

However, AIDS, which was first noticed in Africa the 1980s , was thought to have taken hold in  the US through homosexual activity.

Similar to the early phases of HIV epidemics elsewhere, HIV in South Africa was contained among gay men (men who have sex with men.

In 1982, two white homosexual men were diagnosed with HIV. Both were flight stewards who had visited the United States. 2 -

Not a matter of 'not getting it '.

Not appropriateing - blame or cause - only effect.

You're yet to convince me that this one is. You haven't contributed much to the conversation - you've merely made observations & speculated about me...
