This is like the biggest sports news of the decade.
Do you think this is admission of guilt?
How does this affect those that worshipped him and was inspired by him all these years?
How about the charity he was invovled with? knowing they were supported by a cheater?
Do you think Lance Armstrong is a hero and a legend?

I am still waiting for him to admit to being a drug cheat....or to seeing some positive test result? until then, the media reports mean nothing....beyond a witch hunt.

I think if he was innocent there would be people coming to his defence.
Instead it seems that everyone in cycling is confirming that he was a bully and cheat.
Surely someone would speak out in his defence if it is not true.

Slightly off topic, but I must admit to not being so enthralled by the Olympic's or Commonwealth or World Series sports any more. It seems so many could be doing the wrong thing, the shine is kind of off it for me now. Sad some need to win at all costs and in doing so shed a shadow of doubt over many who are doing the right thing. JMO

Maybe.... however, it seems to be presumed guilty without evidence or admission so far. Why did no tests show it?

According to one article I read they put one test fail down to cream being rubbed on bruises.

Apparently he did do it by admitting it to Oprah Winfrey who will air the interview on Thursday.
If this article is true, there will be a lot of devastated people out there.

I am so pleased he admitted to this...
I had a discussion two days ago with my 14yr old who was saying that he has to be innocent because he underwent drug testing for years and nothing was ever found... I was trying to tell him that with all that has come out in the media there has to be some truth to the story...
I was trying to tell him that he has to have some skepticism and that it is always good to approach this type of situation with an open mind to the other side... Drug cheating was easy if you know how to do it and you have the money to make it happen.
But he was adamant that he must be innocent.

I think with the drug testing the cheats seem to be one step ahead with the use of masking agents.
There must be an enormous amount of money involved in paying off doctors, chemists etc to find things to hide the presence of illegal stuff

Yep.. that is what we talked about....... it is really sad actually... a lot of people looked up to this man. They admired him and his efforts and used him as a role model.
Lucky we don't see sports people as role models in this family.

I think a lot of people are surprised, me included. I also think that there will be a lot more exposure and you'll find that most that compete in elite cycling are or have been involved in drugs at some time or another in their careers. Interesting that there is no one to pass some of his titles onto so there will be no winner for some of the races because most of them cheated.
Will be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks.
