Clair, are you telling Crystal to save her money and let her son share her fishing rod?

It depends on why he wants one on where you get it from
Is it for bike riding or for just a coat to wear out?

Whatever, the choice of something as personal as a leather jacket should be up to the wearer. You could spend hundreds and he might just cut the arms off and stud it all out with stars and chains and stuff.
and . . . what j*oono said.
If any one is going to do that its better to start with a vest

Crystal I cant see a problem if you want to buy him a leather jacket, do it ,mums pretty well know what their boys tastes are in clothes ,if you get stuck ,find a shop assistant the same age and get their advice ,you could buy him one then keep the receipt ,he could change it if he wants ..I do that with my boys ,they haven't changed anything yet .
I would stick with black tho ,a good style will never go out of date .can be worn with dressy pants ..or just jeans and a tshirt can't go wrong !

Hi Crystal,
RM Williams have great leather / skin gear and they're really cool looking gear too...
Here's the drover dryskin
the drafter bomber jacket
the ringer vest
Well worth looking at their site. I'm sure they'll have one on eBay!

Leather jackets (ladies ones at least) were poufy and blousy in the 80's.... it's 2013 now.
