Why is it that those who show compassion are denigrated and deemed to be lefties etc? What does that make the many compassionate LNP voters?
Such unneccessary divisiveness and hatred.

julia - re read the OP
I think the issue here is that anyone who shows compassion for a particular party (if it dares go against common opinion on the boards) is accused of being a leftie.
Not that there is anything wrong with any difference of opinions, that is afterall why they are called 'opinions' - pretty sure anyone can have 'em.

Please define this compassion that you speak of.
If you are referring to the less than "compassionate" treatment of unlawful queue jumpers that are invading the country whilst others are languishing in displacement camps, then perhaps you might like to examine your definition of compassion

My definition of compassion is to have an understanding of the emotional state of others and to advocate for the necessary changes to alleviate the suffering, if possible.
There is nothing wrong with being a "leftie". I just don't understand why it is being used as an insult when to care for others is surely something that is needed for a healthy society.
Turnbull clones. lol.
