The old ones are the best ones. I quite liked 'Skippy the Bush Kangaroo' myself.

Noel Brophy, was in one episode I saw on a late night episode of Skippy a few weeks back. He was great and I think not appreciated enough at the time. I think he may have done stage performances as well. Perhaps he was better appreciated in that arena I don't know.

I don't think he was one of the greats. But I'm nearly sure Noel used to perform at the Ensemble and Independent Theatre North Sydney. Upon reading his name now, I immediately thought of Noeleen Brown and Frank Thring and Dita Cobb and Mavis Bramston Show; I don't know if they had any connection at all.

Sorry, I don't have sound. Is this thread about "catchy tunes" for childrens' shows?
