Vamp, vet gave me the Hills food, so will see how it goes.
The vet would like her to be on Dry food only but as I say she is not that interested in it.

Rose and Teddy xxx
Garage and Latte are on that particular brand diet too, it's very good, and ours are on the 'oral' one because of their ages, but we restrict it to some degree, because it's pure protein, and so is their mincemeat from the butcher, but it takes care of their teeth.
Having said that, Mr. Sulu was not interested in any dry food either, no matter how expensive ... X-(
His Vet said that in his experience of treating Oriental cats, as well as him owning three of them, they were an exquisitely nightmarish cat to own and take care of from both the health point of view, and their outrageous personalities (tell me about it!!) ... :^O

PS .. he also said he would not have it any other way, he adored them .. :-x

Tas my vet adores Lilli. he kept me talking so he could cuddle her.
She was on her best behaviour, soon as we got home it was all on again LOL.

Rose, that is so funny, our Vet adored Mr. Sulu too and did exactly the same thing .. wanted to cuddle him, chat with him, stroke and for a while, tried to bribe us to give Mr. Sulu to him in exchange for a Siamese, but we weren't having any of that ... :^O
It took forever for Mr. Sulu to warm up to the Vet though, he gave him hell .. ]:)

Just got back from the emergency vet.
The Story
Just after dinner Lilli was crying limping sooking really bad, I thought Oh No she has a reaction to the antibiotic injection.
She was shaking and her front right paw was all curled up.
I phoned the emergency vet, drove half a hour, get there Lilli no longer limping but still shaky.
Vet looked all over her, Nothing, vet said her paw is a bit hot and thinks it could have been a bee string, so gave her injection Painkiller.
Lilli is now curled up beside me very quiet because of the injection and I am short $146 apart from the $65 at the other vet today.
I really am glad Lilli is ok but also glad I have the pet insurance.

The emergency Vet was 7 months pregnant, she looked tired, felt sorry dragging her out in the rain.
Lilli is so quiet tonight, I still think it may have been a reaction to the antibiotic.
Thing I cant believe is she was Limping so badly and ok when we got to the vet.
She did spit at the vet and fluffed her tail, tail just looked like static electricity.
I am good under stress but I was worried.
