Soul_art, long time no see xx Sorry to hear you have Crohns as well but have it under control now. It's so good there are the new drugs to make the quality of life so much better for something that can be so debilitating.

Afternoon Lilli friends, :-x
Horrible nasty Melbourne day today, freezing
Tas my avi dog is Charlotte, a rescue girl who came to me just a few
weeks after I lost my darling old cat and old dog and was soaked in
grief and she brought new life and
happiness to me. She's my precious one-eyed girl.
Yes I'm looking forward to hearing about the 'presents' Lilli brings you
Lion, lol.
Flannie sending all good healing wishes for you and yours, xxx

She's gorgeous Bright xx What happened to her eye. I can just imagine how very upsetting and sad it was for you losing your cat and dog and what joy another pet can bring, somehow, it doubles that love for them doesn't it?

Tas she had one eye when I got her and the shelter didn't know what had happened to it. But she's fine. I asked the vet the other day if her eyes were healthy and he said "One's fine but the other's not looking so good." :^O He's a bit of a comic my vet.
Yes I would encourage anyone to get another pet when their precious one goes. You don't
replace them but it is new life and new joy. And to know you've rescued one from
loneliness is great.

Absolutely Bright. We've rescued most of the cats we've had and I so agree with you it is new life and new joy.
One day somewhere up the track, we're going to have a rescue puppy and at the same time, a Basenji puppy too so they can grow up together, probably a kitten at the same time as well.

That sounds like absolute heaven to me, Tas. Chaos, lol, but heaven. And it's lovely to see
them grow up together from babyhood as they so quickly learn to be best mates.

Lilli was out in heavy rain, she came running in all wet, had to dry her off with a towel.
She was asleep and I tried to open some Potato chips very quietly, no such luck, she can hear the packet opening a mile away.
She will not eat the chicken kittens food any more so have gone for a chicken mince one, she still has her cooked chicken.
Think I can try her with a bit of beef now she is older.
