Evening all.

Bit of a mucked up day. I rang Mum yesterday and told her I would pick her up today to take her to get some books, and to do her groceries. When I arrived she said 'what are you doing here today?' lol. Totally forgotten, and not dressed to go out. I went on my own to get her groceries. Then back home, quick cuppa, and then off in the other direction to visit FIL. He made me a cuppa, loaded me up with more books, a frozen chinese meal and a can of soup (that he doesn't like). He would give his bed away if I asked for it. lol.

Hi Richo.

Mum refuses to go to the library now because they send her overdue notices. lol. How dare they! When she has secondhand books she still can't work out where they came from :), or where they should go. I keep telling her that she paid for them, they are hers. Then 10 minutes later, same Q. I even write her name inside them.

Today we had a long involved discussion about her magazines that she gets, mainly for the crosswords. I found them, told her she must have got them in the mail box today, so no need for me to go to the newsagent. Not even five minutes later she asked if she was due to get her new magazines, and would I pick them up for her in town? Boy, does her memory loss annoy the heck out of her. You can still get her to laugh about it though. What I can't grasp is how she manages to do her crosswords.
