I just watched LIVING WITH THE ENEMY on SBS. The story about Ben the Aussie going to live with Lidia and Ahmed the muslims. Lidia is an Aussie and was raised Catholic and converted to Islam. Ahmed was born in Saudi Arabia.
What did I learn?
- Muslim women wont shake hands with a male person their not related to. (Very rude).
- When husband and wife muslims pray in their own house, the wife has to pray behind her husband. (Women are not treated as equals even in their own house).
- Christians are not allowed to visit Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Why? Because you have to be muslim to be allowed.
- Mosques can be built all over Australia but we can't build a Church in Saudi Arabia.
- The Quran tells muslims to kill people.
- In the mosque women are behind the curtain at the back. It's their own area. Why? Because the men have to be in a different section. Why? To give women privacy. This is the reason they cited. The real reason I believe is not to cause desire in the men.
- When they went shopping they visited a halal butcher to buy lamb shoulder. Ben wasn't consulted. What if he wanted pork chops?
- They went to Bondi to do an "Aussie thing called surfing". Lidia went swimming in her full Islamic clothing then when she came out of the water she placed a towel around her depicting the Australian flag.

"I believe in God, the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead."
I believe exactly the same:
God, the creator of heaven and earth
Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord
and all the above.
but the Roman Church changes that by saying that God and Jesus (and that the Holy Spirit) are the same being - they are NOT as can be clearly seen if one is interested in studying the Bible (the Word of God).

Some Catechisms have it as above,
others
I believe in God,the Father almighty,Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;he descended into hell;on the third day he rose again from the dead;he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen

Yes, but you'll notice that all the versions say that God and Jesus are separate individuals -
NOT part of a three-headed God - that's another Roman Pagan incorporation from much earlier triad Gods and Godesses.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. * entity 1
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. * entity 2
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit ( * a power shared by God and Jesus and given to Apostles) and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. * seated at the right hand of God - not moulded back into the one entity.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead. * Jesus who was given all power to judge by his Father - if he were already God his Father could give him nothing.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, * God's active force that fell on Jesus at his baptism and that Jesus gave to his apostles to use in their healing etc.
the Holy Catholic Church, * The Church known as the Holy Catholic Church was formed by a Pagan Roman Emperor and incorporated Pagan beliefs.
the communion of saints, * not the Saints that the Roman Church decides are saints.
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

a glaringly obvious mistake you have made.......................... The word catholic literally means "universal.
Nothing to with The Roman Catholic Church................ all Christian Churches use it.
