Being against Gay marriage doen't mean she's against her brother.
Much the same as his brother didn't say he was against him.
To me it just says they have a healthy relationship in which they feel free to speak about their differences.

Kevin Rudds brother is against him?
Courier Mail, June 2013
Greg Rudd was in Canberra during Wednesday's spill and said the two had exchanged a series of text messages.
They recently began talking more frequently, but they have never been especially close.
It's a point that has, at times, irked some in the Rudd camp.
"They've put pressure on me over the years - they've said to me 'it's a bad look you, as Kevin's brother, not publicly supporting him'," Greg Rudd said.
He said he would be voting for his brother - given he lives in the Griffith electorate - but he planned to continue putting "country first".
"I am a genuine independent and I just want to get some runs on the board for what's right for the country," he said.
"I understand what Kevin is doing, but I have made it clear that I'm not part of that process, in terms of the internal machinations of the Labor Party."
He added that he was pleased to see the Prime Minister's most recent public addresses expressed ideas similar to his own.
"I just sat with a smile on my face, even some of the words he's using are just either identical to things that I've said ... or written," he said.
"I'm not saying he's pinching everything off me ... (but) he's been around enough to know what the punters want and what he's picking up is obviously no different to what I've picked up."

How? They still keep in contact with each other.
