Louis Gossett, Jnr.

I've always liked and admired his ability as an actor and I hope he'll be around for years to come. He's 84 years of age and still going.
Before he became the mega star that he is, he played some good parts. One of my favourites was his part as Calvin Motts in The Choirboys (1977) which was directed by Robert Aldrich. - .Later his roles got bigger and bigger and he became known as one of finest actors in Hollywood.
What surprised me was that Mr. Gossett was the co-composer of the classic anti-war protest song "Handsome Johnny" which the amazing Richie Havens sang at the Woodstock festival in 1969 .
Years later here are Lou Gossett, Jnr and Richie Havens singing their classic song.
