The royal couple will visit Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Albany and Perth during their time in Australia from November 10 to 15.
Mr Turnbull, a former chairman of the Australian Republican Movement and author of two books on the issue, has issued a statement saying he is looking forward to the visit.
"Lucy and I will be delighted to welcome The Prince and Duchess," he said.
Mr Turnbull has previously spoken about the "celebrity appeal" of the Royal family, saying it was not enough to justify retaining a foreign monarch as Australia's head of state.

I wonder if public turn-outs will be similar to that of either of his sons recent visits.

So, who else is to welcome them?...
The mad monk and his sponging daughter?
pfft, i dont care who welcomes them as long as they act and behave appropriately and befitting their royal highnesses...or whatever

and the rest except for Camilla).
She doesn't like herrrr!! for some reason,(she has some choice words for her "behaviour" and says that
"st***pet could never be considered a royal as she wormed her way into her position by pleasing Charlie)
So what does the MIL think about Dianas death? Maybe she doesn't like Camila because of her "involvement" with Charles while him and Di were married? Does she think there was foul play involved? I'm only asking btw, because you mentioned she was a staunch royalist so yeah, just interested to know her views 🙂

You must lead a wonderful life, full of goodwill and good deeds, selfless giving and charity work. Well done.

She does blame her but also Charlie for the marriage break-up,(she does go on to say that they should never
have married in the first place but it did produce two very capable children).
No matter how Camilla has been accepted she says that they should not have being allowed to marry because
of their involvement whilst he was married.
She believes Charlie only married Di to please his mother and to get "good" bloodlines into the family,(to
improve his chance of getting the top job).
As for the car crash, she says that was caused by the media hounding her,(her comment was that the Queen
may not have been happy with her it was no different to the behaviour of the other two).
She has nothing but praise for William and Harry and believes that they will serve the "people" as they
are Di's children,(Charlie's standing isn't much higher than Camilla in her book).
Her view is that Charlie has never deserved the top job as he wouldn't know what to do and he's only a
figurehead now "ruled" by Camilla.

I like Charlie, he looks like fun and Camilla is wonderful.
As for Diana, she was a flawed human being and died in a horrible car smash but could have been saved if she had been wearing a seat belt.
I dread to think how she might have continued to live her life if she had married Dodi.

Actually, I worked hard for eveything I have, I rely on no one to get me my education, I paid for my own
Unlike this girl, rich daddy, privlidged life and secures a scholarship...like she needed it?
as for my good will and good deeds, they are for me and I dont need to boast about what i do or for whom

I think Charles seems to have improved with age. I suspect his sons may have something to do with that.

Interesting 🙂
I really dont follow the royals all that close, but I did see some amazing footage recently on youtube of Di when she was getting lessons on public speaking, it was featured in a documantary about her life (and death of course) an I dunno maybe it was all an act, but she just seemed to me like she was a good soul...
I dont think I'd bother heading out to see Charles and Camilla if they came to Melbourne... I remember lining up to watch Charles and Di drive through Seymour when I was in primary school though. That was a big event back then 🙂
