March in March

Who is marching in March? I will be.

"March in March Australia 2014 will be three days of peaceful assemblies, non-partisan citizens' marches and rallies at Federal Parliament and around Australia to protest against government decisions that are against the common good of our nation"

There's just so much to protest about, but I think the thing that riles me the most is our governments dehumanising cruelty to refugees.

Or maybe the 800 million payment to Murdoch

Or the nepotism.

Or plain incompetency.

Anyway, I need ideas for my placard. Can anyone help?

I'll have to travel hundreds of kilometres to get to my nearest march, so I want to make it worthwhile.

Good on you, pct!

I've got a meeting with my state mp in about a week, then I'll make an appointment with my federal mp. They're pretty rude at returning phone calls.

I am thinking of going in again tomorrow to ask the staffer his opinion of the latest from Morrison. This staffer was just repeating the same spin that we are being fed. Makes me angry.

Sick of the insults and name calling. Show some compassion and you are ridiculed. Rather have compassion than the hate some have. Our rights are being eroded. Funding is being cut. Anything good or bad that Labor brought in is seen as fair game. Petty and nasty. As for our Prime Minister "Where the bleep hell are you" ?

March in March, the gathering is going to get ugly then the marchers will blame Abbot or the police or anybody else they can blame shift it onto.

This march is a prime example of the dissapointed left not coming to terms with Labors loss. The avid hate that is being shown on here is enought to shine a light on just what this is all about.

Funny thing is that when we were sprouting our dislike for Gillard we were all told how stupid we were and how wrong we were....

Now here the other side is doing the same....

I think the Government has not even been in long enough t make any changes or make a difference...

All things that people are complaining about are residual things left over from the previous government and it will not be until the Senate changes that real improvments will be made.

Even the unemployment rate is exactly what Labor said it would be... Manus Island is running just as Labor set it up to run.... The CO2 tax is still having it's impact on people's electricity bill like it was meant to...

How can this all be the LNP's fault when it is all as labor left it???

The best anti Abbott slogan appeared in a lane in Newtown a couple of weeks after the election. It managed to stay up a few weeks before it was painted over.

The message was simple and to the point. It said:

F... Y... Tony.

Every time I drove past I'd say to my kids "There isn't much more that you would need to add to that."

What kind of a parent points out a sign like that to her children and supports that kind of language?

Even in my house when we discussed Gillard (whom I very much disliked) never did I support any kids of disrespectful comments like that....

Wasn't it you that said the banners that showed "ditch the B***" were disrespectful to our PM???

Yet you fully support foul language posters against Tony Abbott??

Whats the word that describes that kind of behaviour??? Hypocritical??

I could name 10 things right now that have nothing to do with the previous government.

Will you stay around to respond catmad if I mention them?

Let's start with the secrecy.........everyone is complaining about secrecy in this government, could you please explain how the previous government is to blame for that?

words that real people use. abbott would use them himself so the argument  is flawed.

No DH, I won't stay around... I have surgery and a 4 day stay in hospital and have too much to do... I am just here to waste a bit of time before I get everything ready...

Need to make sure my son has all he needs while I am not home.. and all we both need while I am incapacitated for two weeks.
