Two totally different styles!

So difficult to compare and contrast.

I agree - it was architecturally perfect but the other dish was more appealing to me as I prefer a more robust dish.

He is a great chef though - it is one of my kin's favourite restaurants - I have never been there as it opened after I came west.

I think the apron has had far too much impact though - to the detriment of the other contestants.

Sorry Laney...left before I read your reply....I was watching two shows a once and I missed Colin's bar dish...saw the burnt offerings on the FB page though...definitely a miss from him. Did you think it might be deliberate to help Tracey get to the immunity challenge becasue she has helped him out so much this week? Thta bar snack challenge looked right up his alley...

Interesting thought about that possibility.  I often forget how scripted it really is but nice guy though he is, I doubt he would put aside his personal aspirations for a restaurant at his winery just because Tracey had helped him.

Have I already said that I do not like this apron concept?  If I have, forget I said it again - it is going to be one of those days I suspect lol lol

I don't think Laura stood a chance last night as she has already had immunity.

I thought her bar snacks were the best but then I don't think that you should give drunken men in pubs a pointy stick.

I thought Tracy's bun things looked horrible and messy.

Colin has gone.  What a nice man.  It was a shame but I really wanted Renae to stay in too. It's down to the nitty gritty now and I like most of the contestants this year.

My favourites are Laura, Sarah, Ben ( just for lovely personality) and then Brent and Renea.

A disappointing week j*oono.  That power apron has spoiled it I think - giving another contestant so much 'power' when decisions as to who goes into a pressure test should depend upon their abilities - not the wish of one of the contestants.

I reckon that Tracy will dump Renae straight into the elimination challenge.
