McDonald's is changing its name.
Well, only in Australia. And just for one month.
Australians have for many years had a nickname for the fast food giant with many people calling it "Macca's."
Surveys show that at least 50 percent of Australians use it, according to Reuters.

I don't mind it at all - not that I expect marketing to 'excite' me to the point of spending more than I ordinarily would.
Good on them for creating what they see as a point of difference.
Good on them for being what they see as innovative.
...and I believe their marketing costs are tax-deductable :^O
I am sure some sellers on ebay could take a leaf out of the Macca's marketing book at times.
