Didn't realise the Catholic church had standards. They didn't even think Hitler was bad enough to be excommunicated.

I have met this man and he is a really down to earth, plain talking, gentle person. My OH and three other men had a long conversion with him at a young friend's marriage ceremony which was not held in the church. He had no problems with that and was pleased they had acknowledged that the groom was a Catholic.  

Wonderful man and I wish him well for the future.
