Men and the stupid things they do.

(Sorry guys and feel free to start an equivelent 'stupid women' thread altho you will be hard pressed to get the list as long as I can make mine...)

Sometimes I shake my head in wonderment at the way the male brain work.

How can you not understand what a teatowel is for? Like, I don't want to wipe my wet hands on it or dry my plates with it after I have just seen you use it like a mop to wipe up the floor.

Or peg etiquette. Undies only need one peg. ONE.

And when you light up the barbeque and you can't see the steak through the smoke, don't just stand there and watch it - close the window above the BBQ so the house doesn't fill with smoke.

Me thinks you have a very funny but warped sense of humour hawk, plenty of house husbands do the cooking while their executive wives are out earning the big bucks.

Steaks are much better on the BBQ and that has always been mans work.

You noticed 🙂

and yes I regularly cook the steaks and meat on the barbie as it seems a lot hotter than doing them inside and always tastes better, I actually enjoy sitting there watching them cook while having a cider.

lol, yes i know, i replaced both taps outside

theres only one cold water tap in my laundry, i aways wanted an extra one for hot water..so some serious plumbing would be needed

I comprehend the different partitions in the cutlery drawer.

They're all there to put cutlery in. Does it really matter if forks and knnives end up in the same partition?

A drawer is not as vast as the universe, is it? and I have eyes to show me where the cutlery I need happens to be. 😉

It matters to me where the knives are as I don't have great eyes, but I'm not fussy about the other cutlery being mixed up.

It isn't a male/female thing with the housework, I just like to do everything...says more about me than about any men that might be around to help.

Most men don't lol. My OH can never find anything in the fridge...so it never ceases to amaze me that both he and big son never put anything back in its right place. Maybe its my problem but I like the margarine, eggs etc in their 'spot' in the fridge.

They just chuk things in, then ask me where things are!!!

I wondered why he was wearing the same T shirt over and over, he tells me he just grabs whatever is on top Smiley LOL

Oh and while I am at it on the male brain. I never understand why one sandwich requires the biggest bread board to make it on and the biggest knife in the house to cut it.

But, I'm sure he has an equally long list.
