Thanks for coming back and posting here Deb.... I think these days most of us take the same length of time to make a post.

Even though some do intend to be hostile the majority here are good people that do not intend to hurt.

I have always found that having a good and productive conversation online is very hard as words are the only things we use when in real life it is tone and body language that make up the majority of a face to face conversation.

Oh so true, Cat.

How are those meals you pre prepared?

I was unaware of  the possible side effects of anaesthetic.  Are there different types of anaesthetic I wonder?

The meals are doing us fine.... mum took me out to the Dr's yesterday and was also stopped to get some fresh vegies.

I got the best anaestetic because I get very severe nausea. The Dr said there were five reasons for my depression and there is not much we can do just yet. I am going to ride it out another week before I adjust my medication. The two different opioids that I used post op could have also triggered it as well which I found interesting.

Because I have BiPolar it is really hard to see if it is medically induced or a natural down that needs to be addressed.

Hi everyone - I have been reading through and hope all who are feeling fragile or vulnerable or just plain OFF are getting some (if not help) at least benefit from this thread.

I know I don't post often here, I did actually post on the last thread and let out a bit more than I meant to, and while this is not a FIX it thread, it sure helps me feel less alone and a little less sorry for myself.

It also humbles me to see the amount of people baring their souls and in return the sincerity of responses and help offered.

Az (Ithink it was) Loved the sentiment of your pic.

Greencat, I am glad that this thread makes you feel less alone. I think that is one of the worst things about mental illness - whether you suffer from it yourself or care for one who does -  the sense of being alone.

How is everyone today?

Catmad*2014, how long before you are physically okay? I find that when I am suffering from prolonged physical discomfort that my mental guard is down and I don't monitor my moods effectively or at all. But the again, I can be a bit of a sook. I hope that your depression lifts soon.

Good to see you back, Deb.

I was finally able to leave the house and get some shopping done so I feel as if I accomplished something. I had a lonnnnnnng sleep in [1pm] and feel rested but tired at the same time. Mr Bluecat has made me a lovely cup of coffee and is busy baking in the kitchen. He is an excellent cook..

Friday the pain lifted and it was the last two days I have been getting out a bit more. I do think that sitting home and not doing anything (even beding over to pick stuff up hurt) made me down. I can't drive for at least two more weeks so am still sort of stuck...

I did have a friend pick me up today and we went out for coffee. I have spent many an hour on the phone the past few days with good friends being their to chat too and that has also helped.
