I spent most of yesterday at the hospital with her, hopefully she will come home today.

I will know more shortly.

I understand where you are coming from. What she is going through is just like an addiction or compulsion. And we are all living it.

It is just so very hard hard watching your loved ones self sabotage, change and wither away before your eyes.

Hi all, happy Easter Bunny Heart We have a beautiful day here, sunny cool but perfect for me.

I have just spent a couple of days away visiting with my sick Brother, he was moved to the Palliative Care unit whilst we were there, his day's are varied with some day's good and others not so good. He has  the morphine pump now which has given him relief from his pain. I enjoyed our time together, we had some laughs and some tears, he is ready to go and accepting death with great courage and humour. This brother is a bit of a perfectionist, everything has a place and that's where it goes, his dress is always immaculate with nothing out of place. He was giving me instructions regarding his burial attire, which is to be his suit, white shirt and mauve striped tie, he told me he had a pair of new shoes, then said but do they where shoes?????? I laughed and said hey!! this is your party you can where what you like. He then said, oh the shirt is a new one so could you press it for me, I near fell off the chair laughing Smiley LOL

Aww Freddie, your post made me both happy and sad at the same time ((hugs)) i'm glad you laughed with him.

Our Easter has been very quiet, we usually have a family get together, but are going to save it until next weekend. My youngest, master blue tongue, is having a birthday midweek.

Being a long weekend, no-one seems to have the decision making power to let my daughter out of hospital. She's cranky about it to say the least. I understand and feel her frustration...she's not actually being treated for anything. Just monitored. But me, I'm grateful for the intervention and monitoring. She has bradycardia and low blood pressure. I just hope they don't ship her off the bigger hospital hours away. That's a lot of highway driving for us and much harder for visiting. Fingers crossed.
