Just heard this on TV. Owner said he thought it was a light hearted idea. I didn't catch it all but I think he said it wasn't handed out at the dinner.

THERE are fresh claims that the sexist menu targeting Julia Gillard at a Mal Brough fundraiser was handed out to guests.

A post, which is doing the rounds on Twitter, claims the menu was distributed and that the restaurant owner had taken the fall for Mr Brough.

Mr Brough has emphatically denied the claims, referring to restaurant owner Joe Richards' statement that the menu was a private joke between him and his son.

"I work at the Brisbane restaurant in question and let me assure everyone that the menu was indeed made public,'' a blog on the Hoopla site from Sascha Taylor said.

The only thing that the owner of Richards & Richards is guilty of is recycling a very old joke that was originally attributed to Hillary Clinton and has been around in one form or another since about 1993

The labor luvvies (with 2 V's) on here and the internet in general are guilty of whipping this non event into a storm and then looking foolish and so is Julia and her handbag hit squad and the rest of her followers
