1 month 2 months. Or three months makes no difference 600 low life's tried to take us for fools and stole places in the Que. from some one who may well have really needed it how many true refugees have died why theses scum have tried to buy their way through the back door.
If this doesn't make you angry then maybe it is you who need to look at your compassion for those truly in need
Asking others to look at their compassion you should research your statements a little beyond the Telegraph etc, asylum seekers are asylum seekers - denying them visas and protection here is probably more scummy and low than even you calling them lowlifes and scum as you have and that shows a lot about your own views. Maybe you should have a little look at what our Churches are saying, they seem to understand compassion....

Most asylum seekers who entered Australia by boat have been told that they are barred from making a valid
application for a protection visa, and that any protection visa application they make, or have made, will be invalid
unless the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection lifts any such bars. Is there scope for arguing that this is
not how the law operates?

I wonder what happens to the asylum seekers that, retain the passports, arrive and are detained inside Australian
international waters, and claim asylum when the Australian navy intercepts them?
How are they processed?
It happens at our airports every day but those asylum seekers are not bunged in a balloon and towed back by the next
available flight?
I find it impossible to believe that the on water smugglers are not now insructing their customers to do exactly that (keep their papers and claim asylum) ???
Time ( and the release of what is at present considered sensitive/classified information) will tell the tale....... and I just
have the feeling that the tale will not be good..... Nor the bill for all those boats @$46000 a pop

Try reading post 11, 13 15 and 17 really its NOT that hard.....
and this tread 99 days since last successful people smuggling venture
100 days and no immigrant has illegally accessed their way into the country
This is what I questioned, in post 3. No answer yet.
Still no answer?
An answer was demanded from me on another thread, but no answer from you here. Why?

I wonder how the ratio of those that arrive by air rto those arriving by boat have been affected????
anybody know ???

I would think the air to boat ratios quite relevant to the statement
More now going home than arriving ??

Shhhhhhhhhhhh. Not allowed to mention the plane arrivals here. Boats, boats, boats.

here are some facts about how the ratio was changing due to boat arrivals....
I wonder how the ratios have now not changed back to air arrivals???
Some 2014 figures would be great....anybody got access to those.... or is it a secret???

Are boat arrivals ‘genuine refugees’?
"Asylum seekers who arrive by boat are subject to the same assessment criteria as all other asylum applicants.
Past figures show that between 70 and 97 per cent of asylum seekers arriving by boat at different times have been found to be refugees and granted protection either in Australia or in another country. "
I wonder how that ratio changed from 70 to 97% to 0% in 4 months....absolutely amazing eh???
