What is your favourite way to prepare them?

I love them for Sunday breakfast with tomato and eggs or in an omelette. Also love them baked in the oven covered with pesto.

Any tips or recipes to share?

They are nice Julie.  Unfortunately where I usually shop they never have much variety.  It's a choice of flat field mushrooms or button mushrooms and that's it.

Sliced mushrooms, one shallot/spring onion, garlic ,salt and black pepper sauteed in a heap of butter.

Then the kicker - Kecap Manis.

A quick easy 'sauce' or topper for steaks and pork chops.

They are nice too Joono, main thing is they are nice and fresh.

Butter and garlic seem to be the winners when it comes to mushiness. Will give this recipe a go too thanks teeny.

As the OP said - roasted caps with a good pesto - I like to add some creamy feta (I prefer Danish) - put some in the cap with the pesto, drizzle some good olive oil over it, s&p, oven, awesome
