After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

It looks more like the "leaf curl" you see in peaches etc. I admit I have been slack, there has been so much to do since moving here that I am now just getting around to trying to sort it out.
Onion weeds is a real pai, thankfully I haven't seen it her,e, have plenty of other weeds though gardening is a real challenge at times lol
Speaking of peaches, one little peach has appeared on my tree, I wasn't expecting any, as it's only been planted for a cpl of months.

Morning everyone.
Onion weed is the bane of my life. Unfortunately, poison only kills the greenery of one bulb. It's the little attached bulblets that continue the cycle. I remember 30 years ago, Don Burke saying the only solution, was to move.
Bushie, are the roses in pots getting a lot of sun on the actual pot and heating the soil too much? Sort of cooking the roots? If it could be that, maybe put the whole potted plant into a larger pot as in insulation-type solution.

Good morning ladies.
I missed the scones cos I was feeding my face here . and I love scones. Still, my cousin bought powder puffs and they were delicious.
Greencat, my cavalier is 7 now! Our old dog is nearly 16 and stone deaf and our cat is 10 months old and huge. He was the runt of the litter but now I think he's the biggest.
Freddie, I love your bathroom choices if you're like me, you won't be able to wait for it to be done. (I'm a bit impatient). We are also in a block of 3 units at the back which means we have a big yard. We renovated the entire unit and yard when we moved in 10 years ago. Would love to change some colours but don't think Frank would appreciate it - especially painting around a wallpaper border I have in the lounge and hallway.
Bushie, the wallpaper border would look good in your house. You are doing some good work there as well.
That wallpaper is not straight along the bottom - it's cut around the pattern so painting is going to be a problem. Most of my house is shabby chic in pinks, pale green and white. Sometimes I think I would like to change it.
Enjoy your day everyone - it's beautiful here in the Latrobe Valley, Vic.

Morning Sandy.
Nice looking cat.
The wall border is very attractive with its cutout edging, and it would be difficult to paint around. A patient person would be needed for that job.
During my "former life as a sporting competitor" I think I went to Bairnsdale (mustn't have done too well or it would have been well remembered). Unfortunately, due to time constraints, it generally wasn't possible to actually visit the sights or even the townships. It was : drive from Sydney to the venue, camping overnights, compete for 2 days, and scoot back home.
