After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Thanks for asking Deb ๐ It's struggling on, it's not doing as well as the others but it's covered in buds. It's on windy corner of the verandah so guess that doesn't help.Next year when we re vamp the front and put in the new verandah stairs I am hoping to build up the soil around it and see if that helps.

I wonder if after flowering you gave it a good hair cut, that may bring it on.

I really now very little about them Freddie, must read upon them.
Still can't shake off this bug/cold/ allergy/ so took my self off to the docs this morning, am now loaded with pills, potions, sprays etc, hopefully one of them will help.
How was everyone else's day? Hope it was a good one ๐

I did a tidy up inside this morning and crashed for a nanny nap this afternoon. I'm on the look out for a wheelchair for the Princess, I need one that folds up to fit in my car. We have a couple of mobility places here so I will do some phoning around tomorrow. I won't elaborate but yesterday I went to get a wheelchair from the Nursing Home store room and was horrified at the state of the chair. I absolutely refuse to put my Mother in a chair like that. So we will buy her, her own.
There appears to be a lot of sinus issues around at the moment.
Have a google often a good prune will do wonders.

Oh that is awful Freddie, does local council help with mobility aids or is that just for those living at home?
Doc prescribed Prednisolone, an asthma spray ( not I don't have asthma )and some other anti B as well, if I take anything else I will rattle

I'm not sure if the Council have mobility aids, but I would prefer for her to have her own after this. It's not right when she is paying exorbitant fees to be cared for. She has a walker, which she uses to walk down to the dinning room for meals. To take her outside she needs the wheelchair.
Why did he prescribe Prednisolone? That is a heavy duty drug and normally prescribed as a last resort and preferably to be used short term. Sadly I think as we age, they toss anything at us to get rid of us.

re council I meant to buy not borrow, our council supplies all sorts of mobility bits and pieces for the house, they come an assess your needs and work out what is best to help you. But,it may also be for those still living at home.
Dunno why he prescribed it, only have to take it for 5 days

I'm pretty lucky I turn 65 in a few days, I only take Vit D oroxine and my breast cancer medication.
I think there is help for the elderly to keep them in their own home, railings in the bathroom and toilet, and the like.
