After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I'm clever at doing nothing. in fact, I'm an expert at it.
My peeing bengals are in the process of being sorted out. My friend who had the sleep over is a retired bengal breeder who is the person from whom my three came from. One bengal became unsettled and peed to mark his territory, the other bengal then peed to claim it as her territory, then the first bengal peed, to reclaim it as his territory, then the other one peed to reclaim it as her territory, and so on and so forth. They may need to be retrained by being kept in individual rooms for two weeks and then slowly reintroduced back into the household. In the meantime, the male cat's territory has been changed and he is allowed to roam in the backyard - he doesn't climb fences and his eyesight isn't the best. He loves it out there and comes back in mid - late afternoon. He thinks of me as being his and needs more discipline plus he probably needs his hormones fixed up. A cat enclosure is on my to-do list and hopefully will be sorted out early next year so they can all go outside.
I have floors to mop and clothes to wash but first I need a cup of coffee.

Punch....how is your dad?
Hi twinks, just got back from visiting him. He's a bit better, has a blocked/infected saliva gland which is knocking him around a bit. He was pretty happy today though. I had an electric lift chair delivered today which will be good for him and easier for the staff. He wasnt really feeling like getting out of bed to try it though.
When I left he wanted extra kisses goodbye and told me I was beautiful ๐ ๐

Aww punch, that's beautiful. You and freddie are so good to your parents - lots aren't. That blocked gland might be infected which will make him feel lousy.
Freddie, everyone is clever in their own way. Look at how your renos are going - so good. Plus your garden and your life skills. Don't put yourself down. There's lots I can't do and wish I could.
Been out in my shed sorting out stuff and throwing some out. I've got enough to start my own shop. We're off to visit our sick friend in half an hour - in the meantime I think it's coffee time.

Bluecat, your cats are being very naughty . Are they peeing on carpet? My dil's cat has a bladder problem so they have to keep her on the patio. She had snuck in one day when they sent out and she peed on the sofa. Is there anything special you use. My dil has already thrown a rug out for the same reason but she can't throw the sofa out.
They pay $90 for a bag of special food for cats with this bladder problem but it does last quite a while. I don't know what it is though.

It could be Hill's Science, Sandy. One cat usually pees on furniture while the other one usually pees on the floor.
Well, I just got back from Bunnings with some materials needed to finish off the bed base that I have for the guest room - it needs some timber to attach the bed slats to - and some brackets for some ledges for the cats. There was no one available to cut the timber - there were a few of us who needed timber cut - so, one of the customers ended up cutting everyone's timber instead.
Then, I was subjected to road rage in the car park. A 4WD almost backed into me as I was about to drive past. I beeped my horn - I have a small car and the horn sounds pretty lame - and she stopped just in time with her car blocking my path. The driver, a young woman, got out of her car, foul mouth blaring, and stormed over towards me. F this, f that, f this, f that, f you, f this, f that...... I said that her mother must be so proud and that she can mouth off as much as she likes but to remember that Santa is watching. She went quiet, then stormed back to her car with a parting f you. lol.

Well done Sandy for keeping your cool ๐ I usually find that the Karma fairy takes care of people like that.
No more "shourt cuts" across the garden, the hounds must now use the path and my roses stay happy. I am now going to look around for more plants to fill up the bare spots, roses are lovely but once they have finished flowering a garden tend to look empty unless there is something else there to catch your eye.
