My day

No I haven't bought one.  Putting it off due to the neighbour offering the use of his bin for my periodic overflow of palm fronds.  When I prune anything I cut things up a bit smaller and put into the "longterm"compost.

Oh,and the day lily pictured is an example of the one with the "grassy" type of leaf that I am eagerly awaiting to open.

Bushie, your vegie garden is producing.Smiley Very Happy Will you be hilling the spuds?  With soil or straw?

Morning to Sandy, end of year meals/events/catching ups can be fun and a great opportunity to overindulge  -   and there's no way I would/could walk 9km (without a pair of secateurs)  HA HA  Although, I often think I walk that much around the yard when I have forgotten things at the other end.

Forgot to mention, and it is naughty I suppose, however,  I accidentally found a mass of rock orchids and baby bird's-nest-ferns along the creek bordering the DD's property.  So some happened to come home with me, along with a bag of dried cow manure.  And I picked up some pine cones for Xmas decs, from an area near Gloucester.

Morning all, beautiful morning here but feeling humid already this coastal humidity I could do without I will swap you bushy my preference is the cold weather.

Feeling a lot better today, that sick empty feeling in my stomach has gone now that I have been assured this mess can be fixed, I just pray we can get a professional shower screen installer prior to christmas.

I had better move I need to organise more tiles, and make contact with a shower installer.

Have a great day all, we will be heading off for Doctor's and some R & R and shopping eating and wondering around Port Macquarie.

Catch up tomorrow afternoon ~~~~~~~

Rescue dog has his stitches removed today so he will be a happy boy:) Have taken his 'bucket' off his head this morning....nos he's giving himself a good clean! Bath later I think. Lexi will be happy to see the last of  the big plastic collar that keeps hitting her when they play lol

Grass needs a mow but the ground is so soggy....maybe this afternoon. Second round of flowers on my Forever Friends rose are opening but getting battered by this rough weather we are having. I remember the first Christmas in my previous house.....we moved in a week before so the children could have the tree up etc. We enjoyed Christmas Eve in front of a roaring fire......not enjoyed since my childhood days of Christmas and snow. Not a summer person myself so rather enjoy the cooler days.

Managed to do a little sewing yesterday.  Alterating bathers isn't one of my prefered chores.

Embrace the day everyone

Enjoy your day out Freddie, perhaps concentrate on the "retail therapy" NOT the mess. Does the place you purchased the shower screen from offer an installing service?

Darn DEB I thought you daylily had finally flowered, it's been quite cool here lately, so mine have slowed down a bit but still getting one or two each day. Still have a few bales of straw left so will def be using some on the spuds. I'm quite happy with the way the veggie garden is producing, next season should be even better, once we get more beds dug up the back.

Bushy we bought the screen from Master's, I have spoken to the installer guy he said as soon as the tiler finishes the floor to give him a ring and he will come and put the screen in. All up with the tiler, the installer plus the extra tiles we needed to order, looking at about $1,000 so there we have the extra money the shoddy BS artist was trying to scam out of us.

So all going well, we will have a shower to use in about 2 weeks.
