After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

My day

Good morning everyone.  I couldn't get in last night.  Wasn't home until later but when I tried to get into CS, the page would time out.  Rest of the websites were fine.

I, like a lot of others do not wear makeup very often now yet I used to wear it every day once.  Now I am getting wrinkles (and even more since I lost weight), I think that makeup shows them out more and does nothing for me.  Fresh normal skin with some moisteriser unless we are going somewhere very special.  Sometimes I will put some eye makeup on.  I only have grey around the temples and a few streaks in my hair covers them.

Nothing much planned for my day.  I have the grandaughter this morning then I am on my own.  Frank does a lot of volunteer work and he has a lunch and dinner breakup today.  UTI has gone but still have a bit of asthma from the humidity so will probably do some scrapbooking.

Enjoy your day everyone.

My day

Beautiful morning, been busy outside doing " interesting stuff"

Not going to get into the "make up debate", some like it, some don't, so will leave at at.

I love my local FB sale sites, last night I bought a whole pile of talking books on cassette, perfect for listening to when I dont want to watch TV, which is quite often these days.

Have sorted out 1/2 of Mr B's Xmas pressies, just need to get one more thing and it done, ty Ebay ๐Ÿ™‚

Freddie I hope all went well for you yesterday and you and Mr F enjoyed your day out ( or maybe 2 )

It does sound like that... poor dog Smiley Sad

Our rescue girl used to run and hide cowering with her tail curled in so tight, every time you picked up anything with a long handle (rake, broom etc) . OH didn't understand why til I explained she had probably been beaten, maybe many times. He was horrified.

We have now had her for 7 of her 8 years, and though she looks at you warily now, she no longer runs away. It must have been horrific because she has remembered for such a long time Smiley Sad

My day

Morning all, late that it is.

With the s-l-o-w-n-e-s-s of the CS thread I went searching around some sites for some alternate diversion to my usual start of the day.

My brain hurts.  It has been "thinking" and "wondering" and "learning" about subjects that were raised in the family discussions on Sunday.

My thought processes aren't as quick as theirs' now.  Way out of practice. Smiley Frustrated

But what I do know is:  I don't have to deal frantically with traffic and timetables day in day out.  I don't have to deal with adhering to "the system" at work. I don't have to "keep up" at someone else's pace (be it fast or slow compared to mine).  I don't have to keep up "appearances" or behave and act my age.

Okay, I miss it sometimes.  I don't have the passion that they still have for their "work" which they don't classify as jobs.  They are still flourishing in their chosen fields.

However, I am flourishing in my own way, in the garden and interaction with Mother Nature and to read, knit, drill wood, wear nightwear in the daytime.Smiley Very Happy

And speaking of gardens, I will go out there now for my untimetabled play-date for some dirt/water therapy.

waves~~~~~~~~~

We are back home, we had a lovely short break away done some shopping bought some nice new towels and bathroom mats.

We have a christmas party on Saturday night with the RSL travel club, and talking bright colours I bought a lovely loose cool flowing top suitable to wear over 3/4 tights and a couple of tops $116 for $64 due to a sale.

Talking hair, i'm always being asked about what colour I have in my hair Woman LOL I get the strangest look when I say ummm it's natural I have no colour in it. I was a redhead so now it's 3 colours, I still have some red/auburn and then I have the salt and pepper happening plus strawberry blonde Woman LOL

Good to see everyone has been behaving.

The Doctor's went well, the ultrasound with the measured thingo was in fact the sentinel lymph node under my left armpit. Because all 20 lymph nodes were removed from my right arm when I was operated on it is just a check on the sentinel lymph on the left to keep a check in case of enlargement. Soooooo I won't see the Onco for 12 months now unless i'm unwell Woman Happy

Fantastic Freddie ๐Ÿ™‚

I get asked if my hair is natural too as I had white shocks blitz through the length of my hair just at the temples with medical stuff. Almost overnight. Looked like it was dyed in. So not exactly natural and reducing out now. But it was a "look".

My day

Afternoon all.

A welcome lower temp today and low humidity...even though it is still a grey old day.

I have courier delivery rage today. Yesterday delivery man in big truck (saw him driving off..too late) didn't make much of an effort to knock loudly on the door, otherwise we would have heard him.

Phoned, promised delivery today, no delivery today.. phoned told will only redeliver here 2 days after failed delivery..so tomorrow is the day (maybe!)

Only expecting a new toaster.  The last one (Brev. Icon) the lever won't stay down, a common issue going by reviews on the net. One to avoid.

Got a reasonable discount off a new one from Brev..they require signature on delivery.. so bit annoying the parcel just can't be left at the door which is off the street and very safe. Or better still they would send to my PO Box.
