Just because it's almost Christmas, here is a lovely genuinely Australian Christmas carol from the set of 15 that were written at the time. Hope everyone enjoys it xxx

morning everyone
it's getting to that busy time of year.
Freddie, good news about your check up and your tiles. The shower will be all fixed soon.
Bushies AP don't seem to be updatng their tracking details properly, I posted a parcel to WA on Nov, 29th it shows it went from Blackburn to the Sunshine sorting centre then to Wantirna ( why I don't know) on Dec 3 and that's the last i know about it. Another parcel they didn't even scan, so no idea where that one is ATM. Hope yors arrives soon.

Debra, I dont think Aus Post knows what it is doing half the time ...
I sent a parcel to my sis in far north Qld (a tiny place, just a speck near the Bloomfield track) and her parcel arrived in 5 days.
Sent one to my son and family the same day...they live in suburban Brisbane. Still not appeared so I tracked it. Last tracking (4 days ago) shows it in the NT!!!! I so hope it hasn't gone missing I will be devastated as I can't replace the presents now.
Not a coffee drinker so I don't have that problem... but I would miss a cuppa tea!
Freddie, glad to hear everything is finally getting sorted out properly You are going to have a lovely bathroom for Christmas.
Diagnosing back pain can be very tricky Bushie - it could well be gardener's back My dicky back has been REALLY good since the new chiropracter at my physio gave me a set of exercises to do morning and night. They have made a HUGE difference! I do them religiously... though some days I do lose count of the repetitions
So many friendly people posting here now, it's a breath of fresh air on CS!
I am now on prednisone..bl**dy asthma I LOATHE taking the stuff but just can't breathe, and the humidity is doing it's best to do me in
But now that I wont be sleeping any more, I guess I will get lots of packing / tidying / chores done.....

Hi B3, I've got no idea why my parcel went to the other side of town and was sent back to near me again, almost 2 weeks ago, and no updates since.
they were talking on radio last week about how their new super dooper sorting system has broken down and they need someone from Sweden to fix it.
some people in Melb were saying it was taking 4 weeks to send a parcel from one side of town to the other

Geeezzzz... how typical.
Buy a system that no-one can repair, and then hire numptys who can't read to sort the mail... or not sort it.
I thought things were bad in the old days before tracking on all parcels - but I honestly think things are just getting worse.
I'm still sitting here scratching my head ... NT???? Really??!

Debra Did you parcel eventually arive? You may have said it did and I missed your post. Mine is still NOT here, I phoned AP this morning, the lady I spoke with tells me it is "in trainit". Well, I already knew that, she must have been reading the same web site as me. She suggested it it doesn't arrived by tomorrow to lodge a missing parcel report, which I shall but I wlould prefer to have my replacement thongs
B3 I have both tried chiro and physio, neither seemed to help much. If it is "gardeners back", then I added to the prob this morning, with all the pruning I did. It hurts if I sit still and it hurts if I do something, so I may as well be doing something I like, the pain is the same.
Very humid here atm, all the plants are leaping out of the ground, as are the weeds lol

you and ne both B3
Bushies, no it hasn't it's a parcel that I sent to WA & the last update was on Dec 3 at Wantirna
in transit means 'it's on it's way" supposedly or "on the road"
if yours doesn't arrive, contact your seller as it's the sender who has to lodge the missing parcel claim

Darn annoying Debra .... The were sent from my podiatrist to replace the ones returned to them. If they don't arrive tomorrow, I will ph them and ask them to pls lodge a missing parcel form. My back is hurting so I want my thongs! Bushie is NOT a happy Bushie atm

Sorry to hear about your back, Bushie. Backs can be tricky to diagnose as scans do not always show the cause.
hopefully you can move around carefully for the next few days and it will ease off if overworked muscles.
if you get any shooting pains down your leg or a locked or frozen back feeling, that could mean a bit more of a problem (disc)
