After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

That looks so good Freddie. It does look nice and fresh.
I was never a fan of mauve lilac walls but then our gym was painted in a very similar colour and with the green plants too it changed my mind. It was so clean looking.
The new owner has gone one step further and painted I think a couple of walls in an even deeper mauve and the others white and that looks great too.
I am stuck with beige walls still and I'm too scared to climb a ladder to change now. We have very high ceilings. Some of the walls in this house are cracked to the max too so that needs doing.

Lovely Freddie! Love painting myself but not ready for a fresh coat here just yet. Nothing like a freshly painted room....the smell the look...love it!
Sanding my decking ready for resealing before summer.
Very productive day for me. Was a little cheeky which resulted in such a positive result

My day improved around 11am, I am now almost pain free and ready for boot camp.! I also had a small windfall today ๐ and a great deal of satisfaction! not to mention shopped at Rockmans for a new outfit, buy 2, get 3rd free! for a night out this weekend, 2 x 30th birthdays and a limo to the Gold Coast and then the city for cocktails!

I emailed pictures to my Son, he was unaware we were doing this. He said yes it looks good lovely and clean and fresh butttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt i'm not fond of lilac I told him to come and see it once the curtains are up and the furniture is back in place.

That is so true. Recently I decided to make a start just with my bathroom and see how I went. I even went and bought the sample tins to check which one I wanted.
Ex was here at the time and he said to go and get the ladder and see if I would be able to do it before I made a start. He was dead right. I couldn't get myself past the second step.
Such a shame because I really used to enjoy house painting.

I love homes with high ceilings the home I grew up in had high ceilings it was always lovely and cool in the summer. It's a good day when you achieve something positive twinks.
