My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

You wouldn't want to move a painting anyway, because then you would have to make another nail hole in your lovely new walls.

ok for future reference then:

from the link

Whenever possible relate artwork to the furniture below it. When hanging a large picture over a table for instance, the bottom of the frame should sit within 4-8" of the tabletop.

If it were me, I would prob go for one of the zillion off white colours around today, it would prob enhance the wall colour

Ditto, I prefer cream or whitish skirtings. But definitely dont go changing it yet, its not something you can change back easily. Now that the furniture is back and you have some timber stuff in there it looks great.

Exactly. I have off white skirting boards but I would seriously hesitate to paint real wooden skirting boards.  In my old house they were the genuine item but they were 13 inches high.  New homes have mdf skirting boards and they should be painted.

My day

My day began today with a train ride from the city. I am now home and ready for bed, after a wonderful night out, huge limo to the Gold Coast with 13  family and friends, cocktails at the Q1 tower, magnificent views, lovely company and my first ever shots of Tequila!
