My recycle bin wasn't emptied as it was moved so someone could park...

Not happy. For the past few months my recycle bin is moved from the side of the road and placed on the nature strip, no problems as it is moved after being emptied during the day and I come home from work and find it not in the same place..  Today got home and the bin has been moved but it is still full.  There is a school across the road and I think due to Easter parade, etc there were many cars visiting in the morning and the bin was moved so they could park.     I don't know who moved it as I'm at work through the day.  Do you think I should speak to the school or leave a sign on the bin "Please do not move".  Sure I'm not the only person to experience this.

If someone parks in front of your bin when the rubbish truck is due, they won't empty it (can't reach it)

So if a person is parking infront of your bin, they may be trying to move it somewhere else so the rubbish truck can reach it?

Someone stole my brand new shiny red lid bin a month or so ago. 2 weeks later I saw it outside a house across the road so I reclaimed it. The bins have numbers on them that the council has registered to each address. I don't know why people think they can just take one whenever it takes their fancy to do so.

Do you any trouble with your red lid or green lid bin being moved, tulip?

In my area the recycled bin has a yellow lid.  The other has a red lid and is collected weekly on Tueday night.  The recycled is fortnightly collection on Wednesday.  Use to be collected before I left for work but now it's later.
