Not happy. For the past few months my recycle bin is moved from the side of the road and placed on the nature strip, no problems as it is moved after being emptied during the day and I come home from work and find it not in the same place.. Today got home and the bin has been moved but it is still full. There is a school across the road and I think due to Easter parade, etc there were many cars visiting in the morning and the bin was moved so they could park. I don't know who moved it as I'm at work through the day. Do you think I should speak to the school or leave a sign on the bin "Please do not move". Sure I'm not the only person to experience this.

That would really annoy me big time!

call council and tell them, they usually send a truck if it was missed.

I'd call the council like Az said, they'll still come and empty it.
This morning when I brought my bins in, the lid was entirely missing from one of them 😮 The garbage truck must've gobbled it up. I called the council & they will send a man to pick it up for repair, not sure what I'm supposed to do with our rubbish in the mean time 😐

Does your rubbish truck really put the empty bin on the side of the road?. That is odd.
That would mean no one could park on the street till residents brought their bins in which for some could be after 5.30pm when they get home from work.
Everywhere I have lived the rubbish truck always puts the empty bins back on the grass nature strip, never on the road. They would be a hazard on the road.

Live in semi rural area, no gutters as such. Bins are placed at edge of the road not on the road.
Obviously my bin is in a prime park position. This is only a recent thing having lived here for over 25 years.

That is confusing. If the bins are not on the road, then drivers can park their car on the road without having to move any bins.

Our bins go on the nature strip, no further than 1 metre from the edge.

I wonder if that who ever parks in front of your bins, is concerned that it might not get emptied, so therefore moves it for better access for the rubbish truck - Fail, obviously.
why dont you just leave it in your driveway for collection. people as a rule, dont park in front of driveways. Its only one day a fortnight anyway, so shouldnt inconvienance you too much really. 🙂
