New car advice..Mazda 6 Gt or Volvo V40 luxury?

Car ppl which would you choose?I like both cars and I`m kinda leaning more towards the V has it has 3 years free servicing plus it seems to be the safest car to drive atm.Any FB would be appreciated:-)

i do like the classic models 240, 164, 144, P1800 volvos

Nics just go with the one you like the most I always do that.

The Mazda6 is a great car but if luxury is what your after then the Volvo and they're a very safe car.

I am not keen on the current shape Mazda6 but did prefer the previous one as I'd been after a Mazda6 Sports hatch in that but was about 15k more than I wanted to spend so I went with the 3.

Mercedes have a new A class out too which is supposedly pretty good.

My last one was a 960, my family convinced me to go for a Ford last time but I have never been happy with it. I now have a Mitsubishi (still have the Ford too)  but seriously considering the V40.

Volvo, but perhaps I am a little biased.

Parts are a little exy but then again Mazda parts are not inexpensive anymore either from what I have heard.

Drive both and as Ivy said, go with the one you like or feels right.

the 960 was the last and best of the 'real' volvo's . i bid on a few five or six years ago but all the volvo enthusiasts pushed the price up way beyond what a car of its age was worth, such was its reputation as the greatest volvo sedan .. the grey six is a fabulous engine. lucky you az to have owned one 🙂 the 940 was a bit underpowered for the towing i needed it for.

having said that, nicnacs car is a real ripper.
