I looked hard but couldn't find a reputable media report on this situation in Nigeria.

Apparently the media don't find the Christian slaughters to be newsworthy, perhaps

because the victims are third world humans. Isn't religion wonderful.

I lived in Europe in 1992 - 1993 and I have met number of Muslims escaping former Yugoslavia.  They told stories like for instance, that  they were visiting their parents when truck pulled up, 1st they shot their 2 dogs, then told them to go up the hill, and gave them 5 minutes to get out of sight before they start shooting.  They grabbed their little children and tried to help the parents and old grandmother, but did not make it to the top before the soldiers started to shoot.  They killed the grandmother and one of the children, wounded one of the parents.  After they managed to get out of the firing range, they saw the house burning. 

What happened during the Yugoslavian conflict was what radicalised many of the young kids from Muslim background.  We sent "peace keepers" and they were ordered not to interfere.

The sad truth is homo sapiens is basically a tribal animal and even  if there were no religions practised anywhere in the world we'd still find reasons to kill each other.
