No State Funeral for Alan Bond

Why should he be entitled to one  ??

He does not deserve a state funeral and I believe all politicians should not be afforded one either.

It would be the height of hypocrisy. I can't imagine how the idea so much as flickered across anyone's mind.

I find amazing how people see things here have Alan who did both good and bad things for the country as he used others money to achieve them , so state funeral for him, then on the other hand we have goeff Whitlam who was removed from power for acting a way that could have bankrupted the country , yet he gets a state funeral it's really quite bizarre

It seems every man and his dog is offered a state funeral these days no matter how inept they were in office.  The Benaud family declined and they are more respected for it.

I do not believe entitled politicians should have state funerals under any circumstances.
