The proposal has by far more merit than the NBN white elephant

the NBN proposal doesn't seek to tow icebergs north. this easily makes it less of a joke than this proposal that has been around for 30 years and deemed unworkable for 30 years. 🙂

Vision, now where has that been for the last 6 years? Oh I know, cowering from the massive debt of the NBN which is crowding out all other projects, squashing & mashing anything that's stands in its way, that's where vision has been.
Time to go, go North maties.

Great idea... there is a population up North that is screaming out for jobs, jobs, jobs....
with areas of unemployment of around 10% we all hope that this will help create a future for our kids and hope that they no longer need to leave their hometowns at 18 yr old to go and live in a big city... away from support and guidance of people that love them and will miss them dearly.

the NBN proposal doesn't seek to tow icebergs north.
But it seeks to attach "string" to 90 % of Australians at a massive cost weather they want to be attached or not.

Lucky we're getting fibre not string then.
You do know that 95% of content is downloaded via the fixed line network?
