I think it needed careful reading. "Not a piece of jewellery" was the clue.
At first glance I read it as "not a common piece of jewellery" and would have said "engagement ring".
But then, I'm not a lateral thinker, as has been established on this forum.

I believe that she has handled the situation very well.
It is one thing sitting at home in familiar surroundings and throwing out answers. But to sit in a Hot Seat, cameras, lights and Eddie opposite you? And then the risk of ridicule from "dummies"?
