Even though this amazing human being is known by some for her only dramatic role in the 1955 film Jedda , it is her achievements outside the entertainment world she should be remembered for. She also appeared in a 2013 documentary by prestigious filmmaker John Pilger'. It was his amazing and revealing documentary, Utopia.
A true warrior for her people and truth! RIP Rosalie.

Clyde Bellecourt, a leader in the Native American struggle for civil rights and a founder of the American Indian Movement, died Jan. 11 at his home in Minneapolis. He was 85.
The cause was cancer, his wife, Peggy Bellecourt, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Although often overshadowed by fellow AIM leaders Dennis Banks and Russell Means, Mr. Bellecourt helped start the American Indian Movement in 1968 as a local organization in Minneapolis that sought to grapple with issues of police brutality and discrimination against Native Americans.

Todd Gitlin, whose immersion in the student rebellions of the 1960s laid the foundation for his later work as a writer, a cultural historian and both a voice and a critic of the left, died on Saturday in Pittsfield, Mass. He was 79.
His stepdaughter, Shoshana Haulley, who confirmed the death, said he suffered cardiac arrest on Dec. 31 while staying at his home in Hillsdale, N.Y., and had been hospitalized in nearby Pittsfield ever since. He also had a home in Manhattan.

RIP Madeline. Some people have blamed her for enticing Saddam Hussein into war with Kuwait with "Arab problem, Arab solution". It was actually April Glaspie who said that. However there were bigger plans at play which Glaspie was allegedly unware of.
And Albright criticized her for rejecting olive branches from Iraq.
