The electric went out last night and just now came back on, internet is finally working. I'm gonna try to get some pics of this, Opened the camper door this morning and snow came into the camper, it was at least 20 inches high from where the door opens from the bottom. My snow shovel broke under the weight. I used a little shovel, i haven't worked this hard in a while. tired, I can't get my car out. Just stuck and freaking out over being stuck. I don't really need to go anywhere right now, just bothers me that i can't. What I wouldn't give right now for a Jeep cj5 4wd lifted 6 inches with studed tires.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to endure such weather...........here in Oregon, this past week, I've been in my pond, retrieving water lily pots and dividing them. The fish are active, so active it is a temptation to feed them. The water lily rhizomes are huge, I got as many as 10 starts from a single culm. Listed them on craigslist for free, and got a dozen takers.
The only thing I have to do weatherwise, is take in the hummingbird feeders at night, so the nectar doesn't get too cold. Right now at 10 AM, the sun is out, the sky is blue, and the only snow I can see is on the peak of Mt. Mcloughlin.
Oregon truly is the land of milk and honey...........

Oregon's okaaay if you like rain every other day. But it doesn't beat the balmy year round weather we Southern Californians enjoy.

California provides little assistance to Oregon...........They want our water, they want to run a LNG pipeline from Coos Bay down through Oregon into California, across almost a dozen rivers vital for salmon spawning............when they move up here, first thing they want to do is make it like the septic system they left, and the second thing they want to do is prevent their neighbors from moving up here.
Former governor Tom McCall said it best, "โWe want you to visit our State of Excitement often. Come again and again. But for heavenโs sake, donโt move here to live. Or if you do have to move in to live, donโt tell any of your neighbors where you are going.โ (1971).........

Yeah, if it isn't mud slides taking Highway 1 into the Pacific, it's wild fires burning down the McMansions.......Southern California is a great place to visit, but unless I was a multi-millionaire, I wouldn't think of living there.
