I just hope it turns out to be a horrible accident and not something that was done deliberately.

I heard that on the news today, how horrible! Hopefully it wasn't a prank, disgruntled employee or malicious act. Lucky you didn't have chook for dinner.

Some kitchen hands are not overly bright. The general consensus does seem to be that it was a stupid accident and shocking though that is it's better than knowing there is some nutter out there trying to poison people.

I don't think it's that easy or simple great she.....there are rules on the storage of chemical weapons...I mean chemicals in workplaces, including take away joints.
where do they store the salt for instance? next to the caustic soda?
They should be WORLDS apart...literally, and stored where chemicals can't come into contact with food.
At the very least they should be fined for gross stupidity.
